Adults and childrens Karate clubs / classes based in Billericay, Brentwood, Rayleigh and Wickford, Essex, studying the Martial Art of Uechi-Ryu. Uechi-Ryu is a system of self-defence which imitates the animal movements of the Crane, Tiger and the Dragon. Originally taught in ancient China, Uechi-Ryu Karate not only provides a means of personal security but is an excellent way of keeping fit and building confidence. It can be studied by male and female, old and young.
The Essex Group of Clubs are members of the The Okinawa Karate Association U.K., which is is affiliated to the Okinawa Karate-Do Association in Okinawa, Japan. The group welcomes all, whether you are a beginner or have experience in Martial Arts.
